This evening, as a prelude to the Louisiana Literature festival 18-21 August, visitors to Louisiana can meet Nick Hornby (b. 1957) in the museum’s Concert Hall.
One of England’s most successful authors, Hornby is famous for the football-crazy, music-obsessed characters in books like his debut novel Fever Pitch (1992) and High Fidelity (1995), which has become a modern-day classic.
Hornby is also a successful screenwriter with films like Lone Scherfig’s An Education (2009) and the award-winning series State of the Union (2019-) to his name.
His latest novel Just Like You tells the touching, warm and humorous story of the love that blossoms between a young black man and a middle-aged white mother.
Nick Hornby is interviewed by Elisabeth Skou Pedersen, Freelance writer and speaker, with a PhD in Comparative Literature.
The talk will be in English.
