Louisiana has invited British art historian, broadcaster, and author Katy Hessel to visit Louisiana LIVE this evening and talk about (re)discovering art from a female perspective. Who were the female artists of Renaissance Italy? How did the first women fight their way into the academies? And is there still a difference between being a man and a woman in the contemporary art world?

This evening’s host: Marc-Christoph Wagner
