Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective presents the last jazz concert of this year JAZZ/TAKE ON AMY WINEHOUSE – a soul-stirring tribute led by the impeccable Manu Katché on drums. On stage, he will be joined by the young talent Marta Wajdzik on alto and soprano saxophone, the legendary Felix Pastorius on electric bass, and Calle Brickman on piano. Together, they will delve into the timeless repertoire of Amy Winehouse, creating an unforgettable night where Winehouse's soulful compositions merge with the improvisational spirit of jazz—a powerful and emotional homage to a musical icon.

Marta Wajdzik

Drummer Manu Katché, a classically trained percussionist turned global icon, has spanned symphony orchestras, jazz, and pop, collaborating with legends like Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, Jan Garbarek, Jeff Beck, and more. Katché’s versatile beats defy categorization. Awards, jazz explorations, and international acclaim showcase a career marked by innovation.

Exclusive jazz collective

The Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective is an association of prolific musicians from Europe, North America and South America, devoted to presenting unique and exclusive jazz performances, which cannot be heard anywhere else.

The collective is led by pianist Niels Lan Doky, whom the international press has hailed as “the best pianist of his generation” and “one of the most important pianists that European jazz has given us in the last 45 years”.

Concerts are held with numbered seats, and the doors open 25 minutes before the concert starts – access via the Winter Garden. Seats on the balcony are reserved for wheelchair users and can be booked by phoning +45 49190719.
