Experience former Prince-drummer David "Fingers" Haynes and the breathtaking French bass virtuoso, François Moutin, who will deliver instrumental jazz renditions of a selection of Prince's iconic songs.

In collaboration with Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective the museum presentes three unique, exclusive and innovative jazz concerts this autumn. The first concert of the season presents JAZZ/TAKE ON PRINCE, where former Prince drummer David “Fingers” Haynes and French bass virtuoso François Moutin will perform instrumental jazz interpretations of iconic songs by Prince, chosen by Mayte Garcia – who will also introduce the concert.
The programme this autumn also presents the acclaimed and influential jazz/fusion bassist Stanley Clarke on 3 November as well as a celerabtion of the late Jaco Pastorius’ on 1 December co-led and headlined by his son Felix Pastorius, who has earned the distinction of a world-class musician and bass virtuoso in his own right, and master drummer Lenny White.
