The Children Wing's open workshops invite the museum's young visitors to get creative in the different workshops, which are all inspired by current exhibitions and the Louisiana Collection.

TETSUMI KUDO – CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP
See Tetsumi Kudo’s birdcages and create crooked, crazy growths with glue guns and colorful materials.

SCULPTURAL HEADS – CLAY SCULPTURES
Shape a face in clay with inspiration from Per Kirkeby’s bronze sculptures.

NATURE’S COLORS IN LAYER – PAINTING WORKSHOP
The many layers of nature are painted into Per Kirkeby’s pictures. Mix the colors of nature and paint your own nature picture in different layers with thick and thin brushstrokes.

SURREAL SELF-PORTRAITS – DRAWING WORKSHOP
Draw a self-portrait where you transform yourself into something else. Maybe you turn into a tree, maybe a beetle or maybe something completely different. Find inspiration in the exhibition Fantastic Women.

NATURE & ARCHITECTURE – CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP
Build small dream houses with glue guns, cardboard, branches, and architectural surfaces inspired by Louisiana’s architecture, where nature and house merge.

Embark on Tetsumi Kudo’s colorful artwork and experience his crazy universes. Draw and learn with the worksheet in front of Kudo’s works.
