The Children Wing's open workshops invite the museum's young visitors to get creative in the different workshops, which are all inspired by current exhibitions and the Louisiana Collection. The workshops are free for museum guests.

Opening Hours

The workshops are open Tuesday-Sunday 11-17.30. The Children’s Wing closes at 18. Please note, that the museum and the Children’s Wing are closed on Mondays.

WEAR AN ANIMAL MASK (11-17.30)
Get inspired by artist Ryan Gander’s animals in the exhibition The Irreplaceable Human and create your own animal mask by using templates, colours, scissors and paper.

BUILD YOUR OWN HOUSE (11-17.30)
Let yourself get inspired by Louisiana’s architecture and the nature surrounding the museum, and create your own architectural model.

TAKE TO THE STAGE AND DRESS-UP (11-17:30)
On the stage in the Children’s Wing you can dress up and pretend that you are someone other than yourself. Who would you like to be today?

A COLLABORATIVE WORK OF ART (11-17)
Create a joint work of stories, traditions and textiles. Find inspiration in the exhibition The Irreplaceable Human, and the quilted rugs sewn by women from Gee’s Bend, Alabama and create your piece of the story.
