Practical information

  • Free entry under 18

    Louisiana offers free admission for children and young people up to the age of 18. Adults must accompany children under the age of 14.

  • Prams & Strollers

    There is access for prams on the right in the courtyard though the automatic door.

    Smaller strollers can be brought into the exhibition areas. Prams and larger strollers can be stored in the museum’s pram parking area on the lower level of the Louisiana Shop.

    There you can also borrow a small stroller against a deposit of DKK 20.

  • Food from outside the museum

    If you bring food from outside the museum, you need to eat it in the park. Picnic parties in the park is not allowed.

  • Preschool, after-school & recreational programs

    Louisiana’s Children’s Wing offers activities and instruction to children in preschool, after-school and recreational programs. The content is organized and the programs are conducted by Louisiana’s arts facilitators at the Children’s Wing.

  • Toilets

    There are toilets in all wings of the museum. Most have a toilet for the disabled and changing facilities.

  • Backpacks, large bags and unbrellas

    These articles may not be taken into the exhibition areas.
  • Wardrope lockers

    Secure lockers are available on the lower level of the Louisiana Shop. They are coin-operated and require a deposit of DKK 20.
