ART WORKSHOPS - FOUR THEMES

Visit Louisiana’s current exhibitions in the company of colleagues or business partners. Here, the museum’s skilled art educators will explore different aspects of your organization and provide an opportunity for you – through art and creative processes – to engage with each other in a new and enjoyable way.

Explore the arts and choose from one of our four popular formats – painting, sculpture, watercolour or graphic art – taking their point of departure in either the museum collection or one of the current exhibitions.

Create a Sculpture

Art Workshop focusing on your ability to collaborate through spacial structures.

Play with balance, shapes, and scale while training your ability to collaborate. Drawing inspiration from Alexander Calder's elegant sculptures, you'll work in groups to create your spatial constructions using paper, wire, and vibrant colors.

Impressions and Imprints

Art Workshop inspired by graphic arts and techniques.

What happens when we flip everything upside down in a graphic print? Train the ability to think mirrored or reversed – both mentally and tangibly. Together, we explore a range of artists who are experts in this approach. We look at the secrets of their trade and test their methods in a workshop where we transform impressions into graphical imprints.

Magical watercolour

Art Workshop where you work together to create a fantastical landscape.

Let your imagination and colours run free in this Art Workshop as we draw with watercolours and pencil, working together to create a large dreamlike landscape inspired by Spanish-Mexican artist Remedios Varo. Like Varo, we will draw inspiration from myths, mysticism, spiritual tales and technological inventions, allowing these ideas to come together in one shared, fantastical landscape.

Painting as a habit breaker

Art Workshop if you wish to experiment with colors, motifs, and techniques.

Abandon habitual thinking and make room for experimentation. Explore the artworks at Louisiana and see how great artists work with colors, motifs, and techniques. Experience how they break boundaries and seek new paths before you experiment with brush and paint in the workshop. When possible the painting art workshop takes it point of departure in a current exhibition.

PRACTICAL INFO ABOUT ART WORSKHOPS

Number of participants: Minimum 10 participants
When: Tuesday-Friday between 11.00-21.30
Duration: Approx. 2 hours
Price: DKK 450 per person. The price includes an art facilitator, materials, and museum admission on the workshop day.
Time: The workshop must be booked at least 14 days in advance, and the booking is binding.

An Art Workshop may be cancelled free of charge up to one month before the scheduled date. For cancellations made between one month and two weeks before the workshop, 50% of the full Art Workshop fee will be charged. For cancellations made less than two weeks before the scheduled visit, the full Art Workshop fee will be charged.
